Bushy Dublin

The Bushy Dublin parkrun starts and finishes on the scenic Dodder River path, conveniently located next to the Springfield Avenue bridge across from Rathfarnham Shopping Centre. The course follows a picturesque out-and-back route along the river before entering the park for two anti-clockwise loops around the tranquil duck pond. Runners traverse a variety of charming landscapes, passing over rustic bridges, alongside small waterfalls, and through secluded forest trails. The terrain features a functional mix of tarmac paths and well-trodden woodland tracks that can occasionally be muddy after rain. Primarily flat and fast with a few twists and turns, this route offers a refreshing escape into a "hidden gem" of the Dublin suburbs.
