Lees Road

The Lees Road parkrun begins at the entrance to the woods beside the all-weather pitches and finishes at the rear of the athletics track within the expansive John O'Sullivan Park in Ennis. This engaging 5k course consists of three laps that guide participants through a biodiverse woodland, offering a tranquil escape amidst mature trees and local flora. Runners navigate a scenic route that passes near the park’s skateboard park, playground, and cross-country training tracks. The terrain is a natural mixture of forest trails and gravel paths, which provides a rugged and authentic feel underfoot. Characterized by its undulating profile, the course features a variety of gradients and occasional uneven surfaces that offer a rewarding challenge for all abilities.
