The Céide Coast Atlantic Run 10k is a scenic road race along the rugged North Mayo coastline, part of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way and hosted by Ballycastle Athletic Club. The course departs from the iconic Céide Fields Visitor Centre and follows the coastal road back towards Ballycastle, running alongside the spectacular Céide Cliffs with sweeping views over the Atlantic. As it nears the bottom of Ballycastle village, the route joins the half marathon course, taking the beach road before two right turns near the R314 reconnect runners with the finish. The race concludes at Ballycastle Community Hall, the event headquarters, where refreshments and the prize-giving ceremony are held. Run mostly on open coastal tarmac with rolling, undulating terrain, the point-to-point course rewards runners with some of the most dramatic seaside scenery in Ireland. Finishers receive a race medal and tech top.
