Cork BHAA Simon Turkey Trot 5k 2026

The Cork BHAA Simon Turkey Trot 5k closes the Cork BHAA year in December, raising funds for the Cork Simon Community. Held in recent years at Blackrock Hurling Club, the race has a unique format: runners must predict their finish time in advance and no watches or GPS devices are permitted during the race. The entry fee is a flat €10 for all participants regardless of BHAA membership. The unusual format and festive atmosphere make it one of the most social events on the calendar. Proceeds go directly to the Cork Simon Community.
