The Village Run 5k 2026

The Village Run 5k takes place in the village of Ballylinan, Co. Laois, and is organised by Ballylinan GAA in partnership with Pop Up Races. The chip-timed course starts and finishes at Ballylinan GAA Club and follows a flat, fast loop through the quiet country roads surrounding the village. The course is suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities and is described by organisers as an ideal PB course. Registration and bib collection take place at Ballylinan GFC from 8:30am. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Medals are presented to all finishers. Funds raised through the event support the development of community sports facilities in Ballylinan.
