The Dambusters 10 Mile is a road and trail race organised by Born 2 Run Events, held at Silent Valley Mountain Park in Annalong, County Down, within the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The course starts and finishes at the Silent Valley Mountain Centre and takes runners out through the dramatic glacial valley on road and path surfaces, surrounded throughout by the panoramic mountain scenery of the Mournes. The Silent Valley reservoir, constructed in the early twentieth century, and the famous Mourne Wall form iconic landmarks along the way. Running shoes are suitable for all terrain on the course. Two water stations are provided for the 10 Mile, and all finishers receive a Dambusters medal. The event also includes 10k and 5k distances, all starting from the same venue.
