Lough Key Legends Run Half Marathon 2026

The inaugural Lough Key Legends Run Half Marathon takes place in the stunning surroundings of Lough Key Forest and Activity Park in Co. Roscommon. The route winds through serene woodland paths, lakeside trails, and the park's iconic natural scenery, with only a very small road section. The course is largely trail surface through the forest park, offering a mix of flat and gently undulating terrain, with runners treated to views of Lough Key and its wooded islands throughout. This is a fully chip timed event supporting the North West Hospice as its chosen charity for 2026. All participants receive an official T-shirt, finisher medal, race bag, and free parking is included. Runners must be at least 16 years of age on race day.
