Cabinteely

The Cabinteely parkrun begins and ends adjacent to the historic Cabinteely House, a grand 18th-century mansion that serves as the park's centerpiece. The 5k course consists of three anticlockwise laps, starting with one shorter loop followed by two larger circuits through the mature parkland. Participants follow a route that passes the ornate stable yard and winds through scenic wooded sections and open green spaces. The terrain is run entirely on permanent bitmac paths, though it is famously challenging due to a series of rolling hills and a significant incline on each lap.
