Castlerea

The Castlerea parkrun begins and ends at the entrance to The Demesne, conveniently located directly across from the Castlerea Swimming Pool. The 5k course follows a scenic route through the mature parkland of the historic estate, where runners are surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees. Participants pass local landmarks such as The Hub and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the well-maintained town park. The terrain is run entirely on solid tarmac paths, which were recently refurbished to ensure a smooth and accessible experience for all. This course is noted for being exceptionally flat and fast, making it buggy friendly.
