About this race

The Delphi 10k is a point-to-point road race starting just beyond Delphi in Co. Mayo and finishing in the village of Leenane, Co. Galway. The course follows a shorter version of the half marathon route, running alongside the spectacular Killary Fjord — Ireland's only true fjord — through a dramatic landscape of mountains, rivers, and Atlantic waters. Mostly downhill and flowing, the route is well suited to runners of all abilities seeking an extraordinary scenic experience. The race passes through wild Connemara countryside with views of the surrounding mountain ranges throughout. A bus shuttle operates from Leenane to the start area on race morning. Race headquarters is in Leenane village. The course is officially measured and all finishers receive a medal.
