Drumlin 10k 2026

The Drumlin 10k is a new race for 2026, organised by County Monaghan Athletics Board with main sponsorship from Golo.ie. Race headquarters is based at Carrick ACES Athletics Club in Carrickmacross, a busy market town in the heart of drumlin country in south County Monaghan. The course takes runners through the rolling countryside roads characteristic of this part of Ulster, where the landscape is shaped by the rounded glacial hills known as drumlins. The event is open to runners of all abilities and all proceeds go directly towards the development of athletics in County Monaghan. As a new race, the route has not yet been publicly detailed, but the event is chip timed and promises a challenging yet enjoyable course through the scenic surroundings of Carrickmacross and its hinterland.
