Sliabh Bán A.C 10K Road Race 2026

The Sliabh Bán A.C. 10K Road Race is an annual chip-timed event hosted by Sliabh Bán Athletic Club in Strokestown, County Roscommon. The race starts at Strokestown Community Centre and follows a one-lap loop route around the town and its surrounding roads, with the finish line set in the grounds of Strokestown Park House and Museum. The course features a couple of gradual inclines along the way, giving it an undulating character, though the route is accessible to a wide range of abilities. The event is officially measured and prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers. Medals and refreshments are provided for all participants, and parking is available at the Community Centre.
