Groomsport 10k

The Groomsport 10k is organised by Ward Park Runners and takes place in the coastal village of Groomsport, Co. Down. The chip-timed course starts and finishes at Groomsport Football Club on The Meadows. The route initially follows the Bangor Road to the Groomsport Road Roundabout before looping back towards the village. It continues on a second loop through the quiet rural roads surrounding Groomsport, returning to the finish line at the football club. The course is measured and certified by Athletics Northern Ireland and is open to participants aged 15 and over. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and hat. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and age category winners. Post-race refreshments are provided for all participants.
