Lucan Harriers 5 Mile Road Race

The Lucan Harriers 5 Mile Road Race is organised by Lucan Harriers AC and takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026 at 10am, starting near the club's facilities on Newcastle Road in Lucan, Co. Dublin. The course runs on closed roads through Lucan and Adamstown, featuring a flat mile-long section along the Grand Canal before looping back. The race finishes with a 300-metre lap of the club's tartan track, creating a distinctive and crowd-pleasing finale. The course is fast and flat throughout, making it popular for personal best attempts. It incorporates the Dublin 5 Mile Championships and regularly draws a field of over 500 runners, from international competitors to Fit4Life participants.
