About this race

The Nora Arthur 5k is an annual charity road race held in memory of Nora Arthur, organised by her family and friends with support from Raheny Shamrock AC. The race takes place in St Anne's Park, Raheny in north Dublin, one of the city's most popular and well-known public parks. The course follows a looped route through the park's tarmac paths and tree-lined avenues. The terrain is largely flat, making it accessible to runners of all abilities as well as walkers. The event is chip timed and well marshalled. Funds raised support the Neurosurgery Department at Children's Health Ireland at Temple Street. Set within the green and expansive grounds of St Anne's, the race draws a broad and community-focused field each year.
