Rhode AC 3/4 Marathon

The Rhode AC 3/4 Marathon is a new addition in 2026 to the Rhode Athletic Club's multi-distance event on Saturday 19 September 2026, starting at 8:30am in Rhode, County Offaly. The course follows the same flat route as the marathon, starting at Rhode National School and running along the scenic Grand Canal towpath, with the 3/4 Marathon distance covering approximately 31.5km of the full course. The route is entirely flat, following the peaceful Grand Canal through the Midlands countryside. Event HQ is Rhode Parish Hall, and the event is chip timed. The 3/4 marathon option was added following the success of the inaugural 2025 edition and caters for runners looking for a substantial challenge between half and full marathon distance.
