This spectacular anti-clockwise route leads participants past ancient history, including a Bronze Age wedge tomb and the ruins of a Viking boatyard. Runners enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lonehort Harbour while passing a 19th-century military fort and an active army training camp. The course is run entirely on tarmac paths, featuring a challenging 400m opening climb followed by a mix of rolling hills and fast descents. Known for its scenic beauty along the Wild Atlantic Way, this unique island run concludes with a final stretch through the charming village of Rerrin.
