About this race
The Drogheda Easter 5k takes place on Easter Monday along the Port Access Northern Cross Route (PANCR) in Drogheda, County Louth, making it the first road race to be held on this new route. The race starts at the Moneymore Childcare Centre and runs the full length of the PANCR, a modern road corridor on the northern edge of Drogheda. The course is broadly flat and follows tarmac roads, suitable for runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities. A chip-timed event, it features medals for all finishers and a race T-shirt for the first 350 entries. It raises funds for the Moneymore Townland Community Hub, a community centre project serving several local organisations including Connect Family Resource Centre and Cable Youth Diversion Project.
