The Carraig na bhFear GAA 5k Road Race is an annual Athletics Ireland permitted event organised jointly by Carraig na bhFear GAA Club and Carraig na bhFear AC, held in the village of Carrignavar approximately six miles north of Cork city. The course is fully measured and marshalled on closed tarmac roads, starting and finishing at the Scoil an Athar Tadhg national school. The route takes runners through the rural roads of the Carrignavar area on a course that is gently undulating in character. Registration and number collection take place at the school from 6:30pm, with post-race refreshments and prizes held at the GAA clubhouse.
