Galway 5km Series Craughwell 2026

The Galway 5km Series is one of Ireland's longest-running club road race programmes, now in its 20th year. The Craughwell leg — the sixth and final Race of the 2026 series — is hosted by Craughwell AC on a Tuesday evening on the roads in and around the village of Craughwell in south County Galway. Craughwell AC is one of Galway's strongest athletic clubs and a regular host venue for the series. The course follows local roads in the area, providing a fast and well-marshalled evening race. Organised by the Galway County Athletics Board, all proceeds fund juvenile and adult athletics across the county. One race number covers all six legs; a souvenir T-shirt is awarded to those who complete the full series.
