Splashworld 5K 2026

The Splashworld 5K is the shorter distance option at the popular Friday evening race in Tramore, Co. Waterford, held in association with Tramore Athletic Club. Starting at 6:45pm from Splashworld on Railway Square, the course follows the same flat, fast out-and-back route as the 10K, taking runners along Tramore's famous seafront promenade before turning and returning to the finish. The course is widely regarded as one of the flattest and most PB-friendly 5K routes in Munster, and walkers are also welcome. The event is chip-timed with prizes across categories. A 10K race follows at 7:00pm on the same evening. Post-race, participants can use Splashworld's pool and changing facilities.
