Wexford Festival of Running 25k 2026

The Wexford Festival of Running 25k takes place on a certified 1.3km loop course within the grounds of Johnstown Castle, Co. Wexford. Organised by the Wexford Marathon Club, the route circles the ornamental lake and mature gardens of the 19th-century castle on a flat tarmac surface. Runners complete multiple laps of the enclosed, fully marshalled loop with regular access to aid stations on each circuit. The looped format provides strong runner support and a lively event atmosphere throughout. All four distances on the day share the same route. The 25k begins at 3pm with all events concluding by 7pm. This is an IAU-labelled event with time limits in place and chip timing throughout.
