Ballyskenach AC 5k 2026

The Ballyskenach AC 5k is Race 5 of 8 in the 2026 Healthy Offaly 5k Road Race Series, taking place on a Friday evening at 8pm in Roscrea. The course is flat and fast, taking runners through the picturesque grounds of Mount Saint Joseph's Cistercian College before finishing at Roscrea Rugby Club, which also serves as race headquarters and registration point. The course is consistently praised as excellent for personal best attempts and draws a strong field from Offaly and surrounding counties. A juvenile race takes place from 6:30pm ahead of the senior event. Post-race refreshments and prize presentations are held at Roscrea Rugby Club. Entry is €15 online and €20 on the day.
